2026-10-13: Geneva AI Summit 2027 — Road to Geneva: AI, The Education We Want

How can we teach with AI without weakening the very human capacities that education is precisely meant to develop?

Will an AI capable of providing almost instantaneous answers make the next generation less autonomous and less resilient? Could algorithmic personalization eventually lock each person into what the machine already thinks it knows about them? Could an increasingly AI-assisted school become more "efficient" while educating people who are less able to act without assistance?

These questions will be at the heart of the interactive international webinar AI – The Education We Want, on 13 October 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Geneva/Paris time, as part of the Road to Geneva 2027 leading towards the Geneva AI Summit 2027.

The Geneva Forum will bring together its community and professionals from the Global Inclusive Education Ecosystem — GIEE, together with the Sustainable Progress and Equality Collective — SPEC and the Global Online Education Regulator — GOER, now stakeholders in the Global Impact Project The Learning Project Foundation.

The AI we want will depend first on the kind of humanity we want to see emerge.

The Learning Project Foundation works to put real-world projects, experience, investigation, cooperation and autonomy back at the heart of learning, while positioning AI as a support for both teachers and learners. GIEE complements this approach with an architecture of trust: Regulatory Sandbox, data sovereignty, Human-in-the-Loop, inclusion, bias mitigation, and the development of standards based on evidence from the field.

The webinar will also address environmentally responsible AI: digital intelligence is never immaterial and must be assessed both in terms of the human value it creates and the physical resources it consumes.

The work will then continue at the 18th Geneva Forum, from 7 to 11 December 2026, and onward to the Geneva AI Summit 2027.

The question is not only how far AI can go.
It is: how far do we want it to go — and what do we refuse to delegate to it?

2026-09-15 : From ideas to evidence: GIEE enters the next stage

The Global Inclusive Education Ecosystem — GIEE is entering a new stage as part of its integration into the Global Impact Project The Learning Project Foundation. Together with the Geneva Forum, this work is part of the Road to Geneva 2027, in preparation for the Geneva AI Summit 2027.

After several months of structuring, calibration, peer review, optimization and selection, the initiative now has a global framework and an initial portfolio of case studies designed to test inclusive, responsible and human-centred AI in education.

Six contributions have been submitted to the Geneva Forum 2026: one cross-cutting Regulatory Sandbox framework and five operational case studies, addressing skills recognition, youth pathways, Special Educational Needs, women in AI, and youth-led critical AI education.

A delegation of 14 GIEE professionals is expected in Geneva in December, representing research, universities, EdTech, AI, governance, inclusion and communities.

Initial results are already available. GLITCH, for example, has worked with 109 young people and reached approximately 500 to 600 educators; several frameworks and pilots are now structured to generate the next body of evidence.

Next step: opening the work to the world.

Join us on 13 October 2026 for the interactive working webinar AI – The Education We Want.
