2026-06-25: Interactive feedback session — toward Geneva, Capital of Impact.

On June 25, 2026, at the Maison de l’Avenir, the interactive feedback session of the “Shaping the Future” workshop presented to the wider ecosystem the results of three days of work devoted to the adaptation, refinancing and new forms of collaboration of International Geneva.

The meeting brought together 100 people, including 50 in person and 50 online, with participants from International Geneva, the private sector, the financial center, NGOs, foundations, universities, professional networks, public actors, project leaders and organizations committed to turning global challenges into concrete projects.

The work presented highlighted a central proposal: to create a shared capacity for circulation among the actors of Geneva’s international hub. This capacity aims to better connect the organizations, projects, skills, funding, expertise, platforms, field needs and cooperation opportunities already present in the Geneva ecosystem.

The proposal presented does not aim to create a new structure that would replace existing actors. It aims to make available to the collective a working framework that makes it possible to better identify the functions already carried out, the existing collaborations to be strengthened, the functions that are still insufficiently covered, and the first prototypes to be tested.

This feedback session also made it possible to announce the concept and brand proposal “Geneva, Capital of Impact”. This wording expresses the ambition to position Geneva as a place where international cooperation, the committed private sector and the financial center can come together to bring about, structure, finance and deploy impact projects.
